How come your Aerith and Tife return to the Arcane Ward when casting spells, and mine do not?

Been on this for weeks, tried your strategy and after about an hour of practice I got it done, now all I gotta do is beat the game on hard mode. Thanks again man, your a beast for this.

For Tifa Ive swapped to Full Throttle Wristguards, I know it only gives 10% damage boost but its still safer than the increased damage to her

I'm still stuck on this one, I removed Tifa and tried other characters but yeah, now I'm back to this video, I did reach Sephiroth with this I think. Tifa breaks enemies in half and she helped me destroy Seventh Seal, so yeah... I'll try this again as I'm not even reaching Odin anymore.

Finally won tonight. Kept getting cheesed last second by Alexander of all things. Killed Cloud 3 times in a row right as he was about to get staggered by thundaga. Then Zack hits it three times and gets a useless stagger. Hella wack challenge, low key wish it was just Cloud so I wouldn’t have to divide my focus at all

But the PS4 version for in battle all 3 party members are slow as hell and their AI pretty much DIES in 1 hit for bosses as well.

I’ve got all of the materia maxed, genji gear and I still die alot in first 3 rounds. Guess I’m just a bad gamer :(

Gotta run through this again. I can confirm this method still works, i just tweaked mine a bit. I lost on stage 6. BEWARE! USE DISPEL!!!! Big boy put on reflect and i didnt even notice. Wiped two of my party members with my own attacks 😅

Coming back to this to say: I HIGHLY recommend replacing Luck Up with Chakra (& not healing because it's an MP siphon). Losing multiple runs because I made minor mistakes was not fun. Chakra patches up the minor mistakes easily. Literally went from spending two hours on it to winning in two tries. Use Blizzara on Disgorgon's jaw. Always breaks it and it will use petrifying mist once it's close to stagger anyway, and so activating Corsair's Compass is fine. Do not ever replace precision defense focus. Naz's parry build strat is the easiest to win with. Use the command menu slow down feature if you have to. You will almost never get a run on Mindflayer where he does not use the projectiles and you can stagger him as early as Naz. This is why Chakra is important - parrying all of these projectiles is not easy.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you <3 this did the trick for me. I recommend Yuffie with Raise and Reraise Instead of Warding and the other linked Materia. Also when you reach the Worm cast STOP to it with Yuffie ASAP! and when it starts moving cast it on the worm again! With the Cactuars cast STOP to one cactuar if you can, it makes em more manageable! On the last round just nuke everything. Oh! I also had PRAY with Yuffie instead of Mug! Did an universe of a difference! That way you can be a healer to Tifa and Aerith!

I didn't even used the main character during the demo he's too slow Morley definitely going to be my most controlled character.

Morley’s Nightblade combo is very simple and optimal damage wise. You start off by Normal Attack and holding it. You then press Special Attack and hold it down then repeat. It’s an endless loop of Morley’s highest multipliers. The only reason you didn’t see that in the demo fully is because the tentacles go untargetable after five seconds. That on top of the horrendous camera made it so infuriating trying to optimize this. If there are any bosses in the full game with just one hitbox then Morley will destroy them!

He was my pick playing through, will spend rhe next few days testing the others but I'm on the fence on if I'm buying. Really bad performance issues and combat is a little junk especially with the horrendous camera and lock on

Demo was fun! Can’t wait till it’s out. Oh wait… my back-log… 😭 2-handed was nice but so slow… didn’t try the other weapons available. Kinda rushed through for the extra’s in the full game.

Val's Ruin Knight may be the highest hitting class in the game! While Careena and Morley struggle to just hit 100 Val was almost hitting 200 already. With the 50% Attack Passive he might hit damage cap when the full game releases!

I discovered a slight variant on this to make the sephi fight much easier. It might also work for gilgamesh but I didn't try it there. Same general setup/method of course, but instead I gave the expeditionary medal (enhanced or not doesn't matter) to aerith and the limit booster to tifa. I dropped the HP materia fore everyone (but choose whatever you think is least needed) instead gave tifa empowerment in case I needed to make up for their slightly lower power now with faith, I gave limit siphon to aerith, and I gave limit support to yuffie. Then on the sephi fight, I atb boosted immediately with aerith and yuffie and as quickly as possible cast barrier first then a regen. this should let you survive his octoslash with everyone. Then, try to get haste and the atb ward up if you can, but this doesn't matter too much. it will just make it a little faster if you can. Let him catch everyone. This should give enough limit to siphon from tifa, do so immediately (heal with tifa if needed too) and then do Aerith's lvl 2 limit break. you're now immune to everything he can do to you and can set up easily and once you get going he's done. This method worked first try for me.

How can I defeat the Worm? Ice does nothing to it, the claw is fast kills everyone.

I got all the way past the first octoslash. After that, Seph almost insitanty shadow chained tifa. Is there a way to disrupt or is this just RNG luck. I was sooo close 😢to

I just beat this challenge in 5:35 on 3rd try. 8th round got me good but once I powered thru that one, the rest was 🎂. Thank you once again Naz, the Plat doesn’t seem that far off now 🥲

Finaly I just beat this fight after many attempts , my build is altered but very similar . I did beat Odin on my 1st time getting too him though 💪 bahamut caused me so many problems . I ran enemy skill ,revival swiftcast wind/thun hp up mag up hp absorb wind mp absorb wind magic focus wind 1st strike and steadfast block . On to my last vr mission really hope I have an easier time with that one

Perfect Blocking will charge quick charge For Titan I recommend using stop and destroying him with wind magic however you can get rid of the buff on his shield by attacking him right after he uses sling or thwack. Make sure to Target his hand if he uses granite shell with either chain slash 2 or a wind level 2 I've only completed this once I have done three solo success runs with Zack on just titan (If you want to destroy Titan with just Zack with or without cloud you are going to need to practice quick charge and combo quick charge and to destroy the shield I recommend to change / level 2 or level three and of course high braver but that takes a little bit of practice however if you debuff the shield and then use high braver it will take a huge chunk out of The shield. I do not know how to beat the other enemies with Zack yet.)
